Eco Ambassadors

 

At Westbrook, the Eco-committee is made up of two ambassadors from each class from Reception to Year 6.  The Eco Ambassadors meet as a committee who work together to raise awareness of environmental issues to empower all our children to make a positive difference.   

 

They take a lead on environmental actions and projects within our school and so far have been instrumental in leading whole school assemblies linked to Harvest and the importance of knowing where out food comes from and encouraging people to think about seasonality and locality of our food to reduce our carbon footprint.
