We are recruiting to fill additional teaching assistant hours and would like to welcome the successful candidate(s) to join our committed, enthusiastic and supportive staff team. We are seeking a motivated and inspiring teaching assistant(s) to work with children, including, but not limited to, those with additional or special educational needs (SEND). The role will also include lunch duties.
Experience of working with children in the primary phase, and those with SEND, would be desirable; as would any specialist training such as STARs. However, if you are interested in the role, but do not have any experience of working with children with SEND, training would be available for the successful candidate.


The successful candidate will:
 be able to motivate and engage children
 be able to form professional and nurturing relationships with children
 demonstrate a calm, proactive approach to behaviour management
 work effectively in a team and build positive relationships
 be able to apply good organisational and communication skills
 be able to use their initiative, learn and adapt
 have a positive attitude and a good sense of humour

Would you like to join our friendly, well-established and supportive team at Westbrook Lane? We are looking to appoint committed and enthusiastic lunchtime supervisory assistants.

You will need to be caring and approachable and enjoy working with children. The job will involve supervision of pupils, both in the dining hall and around the school, as part of a team of lunchtime supervisory assistants.

We will offer:

Pay Range: A1 (£9.90 per hour)
Hours: 1 hour and 10 minutes per day, 5 days per week, term time only
